Not really, I have furniture in corners. And have never thought about it because of the floor plan in my house. Maybe I'm missing something.

No, it's a load of rubbish.

The power of belief is unbelievable sometimes, esp. when you feel low and everything goes against you. FengShui, to some extent, is like religions!

Balance in life always makes a difference.

I have seen certain buildings that just didn't work and when changed, felt so much better. Some of it is hokey but some of it makes sense. There are certain placements and flows that just feel better than others. It may not make you a rich man or save your marriage but it can make things more balanced and happy for you.

I believe in Feng Shui. I also believe in television psychics, David Blaine, Scientology, grainy Bigfoot videos, Nostradamus, homeopathic medicine, sewer crocodiles, global warming, and the bloody Tooth Fairy.

I do believe that a home that has a natural flow to it is more appealing than one that doesn't. Having a home face NORTH and all the natural elements like water and earthy elements...like the ocean or the mountains might do for a person. I applied some feng shui things such as color on the walls and water (a built in salt water aquarium). However I am not one who relies so much on "Feng Shui" but just take some things you like from it and go w/ it.

I'm not sure if metal chimes can digest earthly evils but the house looks more beautifull if 'feng shui'ed'

I moved my bed to behind the bedroom door and I never slept properly for a week, I moved it back to its original position facing the door and I sleep like a baby. I dont know if this is feng shui but something felt wrong. I also have to have the TV facing the door. Any other position and I feel strange. I suppose its just me being weird. :)

Some of the principles are great, but "chi"?, (close the toilet so chi doesn't escape, put a mirror behind your stove burners to double the chi), that's the stuff I don't believe in at all.

No -for the simple reason that the lives of over ninety percent of the Chinese - the main practicers/protagonists of it - are pretty tough and miserable....if FS or any of the other disciplines were as effective as touted it seems to me that the standard of comfort etc would be much greater....
