Knowing that the sense of smell is the closest sense to memory,I would tend to believe that it is in the memory cells and needs to be burned out,,,hehe...haha.

Sometimes a certain smell will take me back to a certain place for sure. Once smelled some incense in a store and all of a sudden i was back in India and for a few seconds i WAS transported back to India, ...everything was India, the flavor, the language the heat, . Freaked me out for a couple of minutes,...then everything cleared up...too Real. Smells are powerful.
