  • I've never had racoon before, but if I were fixing it for the first time, this is what I would do: 1. Cut racoon into bite-sized chunks. 2. Drizzle bottom of skillet with olive oil, on medium high heat. As skillet warms, place 1 tablespoon of Cumin seed in skillet. 3. Crush a clove or two of garlic into your pan and add the racoon and a little sea salt. Brown the racoon. 4. In your slow cooker, place diced potatoes, a chopped tomoato, a couple stalks of celery, chopped, and a small, diced onion. Add two cups of beef broth, a large can of tomato juice (~16 ounces), and a cup or two of Merlot. Throw in a handful of wild rice and your browned racoon with seasonings. Stir ONCE, just to make sure everything has liquid around it. Put the lid on your cooker and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
  • Personally i like skunk
  • I am sure that you already know this, but when you get the coon (if you didn't kill it), make certain that they leave a foot on the body so you know it's not a cat.
  • Wow I have never hear of anyone eating coon, crazy!
  • I didn't know people eat racoons.....
