98 honda civic code 71 random misfire on cylinder 1. what are probable causes. i changed cap,rotor wires plugs. but the check engine light keeps coming back on. engine runs great but i need to fix this for inspection. help please

You may have to reset the ECU. 1. Warm up the engine then turn off engine. 2. disconnect the battery for ~5 minutes (or pull out the ECU fuse.) 3. Restart the engine without stepping on the gas. 4. Let it idle for 2~3 minutes. 5. Shut off engine.
