I remember the first time I won Windows Solitaire. The glee of the dancing cards fluttering across my screen with such precision that synchronized swimmers would cry in awe and jealousy of their movement. It really was a thing of beauty.

Yes, but I prefer internet Backgammon, more of a challenge to out beat your opponent, its better than playing against a computer.

I won it a few times using actual cards, it's more rewarding than doing it on windows as you can start a new game so quickly. However, it's still solitaire which doesnt bring the greatest thrill

Yep I have! The first time I won was so cool. I still remember that day. It was on my Microsoft 95 computer and the screen was full of bouncing cards. :) On my new laptop I have played it 532 times and won 173 times. No joke.

It's much easier on a computer.. the computer shuffles the cards better than an actual person. When you shuffle the cards yourself, they don't always get shuffled well, so it's harder to win. I've only won 3-4 times playing with real cards, but I win maybe 90% of the time on the computer.
