Not so that you could fix a date, in my opinion. Even when, in the scheme of things, differs according to interpretations. I beleive it is at least 1003 1/2 years from now. I'll explain. My escahatology (doctrine of future things) is post-millenial--not a majority view at the moment. I believe the order of the major prophetic events to be 1)binding of Satan into the bottomless pit for 1000 years, resulting in 2) the millenium ("the thousand years"), wherein righteousness becomes pervasive in the earth. I believe that Christ rules earth from Heaven during that time, and need not return to earth to do so. 3)At the end of the millenium, Satan is released from the bottomless pit, beginning 4) the Tribulation or Great Tribulation, during which he amasses and organizes all those in the earth who are not saved. Fallen human nature will have continued in place during the millenium, and particularly toward the end there could well be quite a few people who are not truly saved, but have just been conforming to the generalized righteousness, and will readily flock to Satan (the "great falling away". I think the best prophetic indication is that the Tribulation will last 3 1/2 years. Satan will ultimately mass his armies for the final attack on Israel, and all of God's people, in Megiddo. It is at this time that 5/6) Christ returns to earth to defeat this army with the forces of Heaven. As He is returning, all the saved dead are resurrected and the living Christians are taken out of the earth, 5/6) the Rapture. These Christians in new glorified bodies return to earth with Christ to defeat this Satanic army 7) at Armageddon. This is followed by the complete annihalation of the universe, and the Great White Throne Judgement. This all means that the battle of Armageddon is at least 1003 1/2 years away. I think in the pre-millenial view (the "Left Behind" scenario) the battle of Armageddon occurs following the Rapture and 7 years of Tribulation, before the millenium, with Christ returning to earthat that time. That would put Armageddon at least 7 years away. I'll leave it to others to deal with that view, if I'm incorrect.

The best answer is for one to look out there window. Listen to the radio some time how many mane stream musicians are doing gospel music. The bible talks about in the days before the anti Christ that he will erect a rebirth of believers. And now in the last 100 years give or take man has seen the largest up poring of Christ teaching and his spirit than any other time in history I have also done a posting on the birth date of the anti Christ fill free to see that to for further info on the subject more to come.

Armourgedon will occur on God's timetable and not our own, referance Matthew 24:36. However he does tell us around what season it will come 2 Tim 3:1-5 and Revelation chapter 12. If you want me to explain Revelation 12 just let me know.

no one knows except for Jehobvah himself, and most likely now his Son.

It's interesting - even Jesus reckoned that "there are those here who will not taste death before these events come to pass" or similar. Essentially he thought it would be within a human lifetime of his present-time. Every single generation of christians ever since seems to have been convinced it was going to happen in their lifetime - and read all the signs in their world - using the bible.

Negatory... no one knows the hour or the day.

Why yes! Jesus Himself predicted that Armageddon would occur during the lifetime of His apostles: '"Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. "Learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, know that he is near, at the gates. AMEN, I SAY TO YOU, THIS GENERATION WILL NOT PASS AWAY UNTIL ALL THESE THINGS HAVE TAKEN PLACE. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.' Matthew 24:29-35 'There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.' Matthew 16:28 I added the emphasis to point something out - the generation and exact people He was speaking to should have seen the events He described. However, none of it seems to have actually happened. Revelations 1:1-3 says that the time is at hand, and the events in Revelations will shortly come to pass.
