Usually, if you look up nutritional information, it will tell you how much protein you have consumed. I make a protein drink frequently and it only has 30% of my daily requirement, so I need more than that.

People will argue what the correct amount should be but most agree that if you stay within .75 – 1.25 grams of protein per lbs. of body weight that you’ll be in the target zone for training and growth.
