  • If you haven't got the transport to take it yes! Also, some might say take everything, but I personally think it's best to be a bit choosy. It's not worth taking clothes you haven't worn for a year etc, you probably won't wear them and you need to think how much storage space you will have.Think about what you will be doing at college and what you really need.
  • I know I did - but I got over it.
  • Yes. Don't feel like you have to bring everything...including the kitchen sink. As long as you have the basics like sheets, towels, toiletries, brush or comb, 3 or 4 pairs of: jeans, long sleeve & short sleeve shirts, shorts ... and of course extra underwear & socks. You can always pick up the things you find you need as you go along & remember you'll be home before you know it. Thanksgiving break comes quick! If you need something else from home you can get it then. Don't forget the snacks for your room ;-] Good luck to you!
  • Yes. You only have one room in which to put things, and your roommate won't appreciate it if your stuff takes up 3/4 of the room like my freshman roommate's did. (Her ego took up more like 9/10ths, and we both moved out as soon as we could.)
  • yeah of course
