You put together .wav loops of different sounds to make a composition. Since it is the free version, they limit you to 10 .wav files and there are some ads, but its great for someone who just wants to try making electronic music. You can also add your own voice if you have a mic.

  • What you are looking for is a music "sequencer" All of the above are examples. Cubase (PC) and Logic (Mac) are the pro audio versions, and very user friendly once you get past the initial stages. Great fun - good luck with it!
