I had a tooth pulled two weeks ago. I wish I hadn't. The doctor gave me antibiotics and darvocet. I took them and the area where the tooth is missing is still painful, as well as the teeth on either side of the gaping hole. Also,I can't drink anything cold without this pain shooting up to my brain. My answer is let your teeth fall out of your head and go without. There's nothing worse that toothaches.

Yes of course it's normal. I had a tooth pulled from the back a while ago also and t took about a week to get back to normal. Whatever you do, don't let anything get stuck there, keep washing it out each time you have food, and don't let it dry up, the last thing you want is a dry-socket.
