  • Well, for one thing, you can clear your mind of everything and only think of simple thoughts like, "Hey, I never remembered the grass being so green!" or "I think today I will do whatever makes me happy!" In my case, things that stress me out end up being things that are able to be solved very easily...

A couple of things I'd like to add are: Whenever you can, take a lavender (the scent of lavender is proven to help with relaxation) bath while listening to some of your favorite relaxing music. I even sometimes read a light book while I'm soaking. Another thing you could try would be to find a hobby that takes your mind off everything. Something you can just get lost in. Also, if you have a pet, be sure to spend time stroking him/her - it's another proven stress reliever.
