  • Assuming your kitten can't jump onto a table/counter top yet, but the cat food up high. Feed the kitten separately in another room or something, away from your cat so the kitten can finish eating all of its food in peace.
  • Oops, to finish that. My kittens can jump up on the counter right now. For the first few weeks I fed them seperately, but for the most part I keep food in their bowls all day... b/c Krissy (my cat) doesn't like to eat it all at once. Middy, one of my other kittens is good at listening when I tell her no, not to eat the food, but Paul is the trouble maker. I don't want my cat to eat the kitten food b/c the kittens eat her food she will gain way too much weight. But I can't obviously keep my kittens locked up all day when I am at work otherwise I could feed them in seperate rooms but I leave in the morning after I feed them... I tried spraying him with water as a training tool but the male doesn't respond to it as well as the female does. He seems to be testing me actually. When I tell him no he doesn't move until I get up to go over to him... it's getting frustrating to have to watch him all day.
