  • According to whatever "expert" you listen to, it is a "normal correction so don't worry, be happy"...or "this is only the tip of the iceberg, hang on, the ride is going to be really bumpy." I am certainly no expert, but my feeling is that what is happening is necessary and we brought it on ourselves..why? Greed...greedy financial institutions, greedy buyers out to "make a killing"..home prices are ridiculous. I think it will continue to be very dicey and I hope it doesn't become a full-fledged recession but it seems to be heading that way. Of course the "Decider" says everything is hunky-dory(sp).:)
  • This is the resuly of greed I agree. They do have ways to pump up the market, but it is usually a false cure. I think it would be best to let it go the way it wants and get it over with. One of these days it's goona flop anyway.
  • I don't think so. I don't have a lot of faith in all things American but I do have faith in our ingenuity. Here is a good article about why all of this probably isn't as bad as people are saying: http://money.cnn.com/2008/09/25/news/economy/colvin_economy.fortune/index.htm
