  • My brothers a police officer and he watches anything with police in it from law and order to forensic shows then pulls them to bits if they are wrong.
  • I would imagine that they feel it is pretty biased. Of course the police are not always right, but even on one of Cop Watches own videos they show 3 officers surrounded by crowds of people that would be a pretty intimidating situation. I have seen people arrested on Cops and thought that there is overkill but there are always going to be some bad apples in every barrel
  • I was a cop for 13 years before going to law school. I don't believe in police brutality, or excessive use of force, so I don't have anything against cop watch. Too often however bystanders can misunderstand the use of force. Sometimes force is necessary and 'edited video clips' could make a police officer appear abusive when he wasn't. Although abuse shouldn't be tolerated, the public should realise that it's a tough job and support the men and women that are sticking out their necks each day.
