Awhile ago, AVG found a virus on my computer. It was the Trojan horse. It is now in the vault sitting there. Can it still do harm to my computer, it is (to AVG's standards) unhealable. Anything I can do to fix it, or is it fine where it is.

You are heading for irreversible damage to your computer, this is the way the Trojan virus began tearing down my computer. finally, the Trojan won. it completely shutdown my entire system. i had to throw that computer away and start all over with a new one. this time, i installed the Symantec virus system. its great. even the firewalls have firewalls. No problem since, with the Trojan.

Download Windows Defender, and try Spybot- Search and destroy.. They should pick them up.. For a good free firewall try Zone Alarm, it is also free.. If you cannot get rid of it, you may have to do a clean install of Windows.
