Doesn't Sudan have massive untapped oil reserves waiting to be collected? Corruption in countries similar to Sudan has prevented any of the revenues produced from oil trickling down to the people who really need it i.e. the people. :(

It is a poor nation and has plenty of natural resources. Government corruption and an ongoing civil war has not helped the people.

false. Sudan (like many in the region) has rich resources. But US sanctions are what keep it from developing them
