I'm only 25 but I've never lied about my age. The only people who I can think of off hand who lie about their age are men ... two ex-boyfriends and one of my friends ...

I'm 44, and I don't see the point of lying about it. It's too hard to keep stories straight; if you go with the truth, you don't mess up. ;-)

Good question. I can see why younger people would lie about being older (to buy booze or whatever), but I think it's silly for an older women to lie about being younger. Doesn't doing so just make her look like she isn't aging very well. If they're going to lie about their age, shouldn't they say that they're older, that way it seems as if they look young for their age?
