  • We can love someone we don't like, and we can like someone we don't love. For example, you can grow up loving your parents becaue they are your parents and most people are taught that family is all important. But you don't have to like them or their personality. I have an ex boyfriend that I loved, love and always will, as a person. But I don't like HIM at all. It probably doesn't make any sense but it does in my mind!
  • In the days that the language was being developed I would think. Love is a much deeper emotion than just liking somebody a lot.
  • I thought if you loved them it said it all. Now they are going to make this complicated too...geez!
  • We didn't.
  • It isn't new. 30+ years ago , my mom told me, "I love you, but sometimes I really don't like you." I had been a particularly ugly child on that day! It made the differences between liking and loving very clear for me, and I tried to beome more likeable. Mom says I am doing better!
