  • If we were "too" smart there would be alot less problems. We might be "factually" smarter but our people IQ is in the negative numbers, as a planet.
  • Why should there be such a thing as too smart? Why should there be a limit to technological advancement?
  • Can you provide news stories for these claims? And no, I don't think we're "too smart" just that we're learning how to use more things and make the best of what we have much more than we did in the past. That doesn't do anything but lead to a better future.... We need to work on how we treat each other as a whole, however. Apply some of that knowledge to a good use.
  • We can never be too smart!
  • I do know what you mean, i feel we are becoming quite technologically advanced its quite scary....i've watched far fetched films such as the matrix and i-robot, and minority report, i know they are not real and if possible a long way off...but they are possible future scenarios...what we have created may well destroy is in one way or another.
  • It seems like we're excelling at "small" technical acheivements, but at the same time my very own government is restricting research using stem cells because of "moral" issues. Yippee, I have a Dodgers ball cap that can remind me to go get a beer, but God forbid I should be diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Schlerosis, or any of the gabazillion forms of cancer.
  • We can NEVER be too smart, such a thing is possible. Any ounce of ignorance, on the other hand, is FAR too much.
  • Progress is evolutionary, Kilo. We build upon past knowledge. Be assured we are not TOO smart, at any given time half of us are BELOW average in intelligence.
  • You can never be TOO smart. Unless, of course, if you're so smart that you're hurting yourself. But then you aren't really that smart after all.
  • No one can ever be "too" smart. Now for those stories, the first one I know to be true, the second one is definitely possible, but the third one is impossible, maybe you meant has water as the only byproduct, that car would run on hydrogen and we've had that technology for years. But I'd like to see a link for your third story.
