  • Yes I have worked a lot with children. I prefer working with younger kids (infants thru kindergarten). I love working with the children. It is some of the parents and other adults that I have to work at getting along with.
  • Yes. I used to teach C.C.D. classes (believe it or not) when I was in the church. They were 4-5 years old, and they were alot of fun. Very sweet kids.
  • Yes and I still do, I work for exceptional children and I get rewarded everyday just being there for THEM. They have a gift of love that is so inspiring to me and of course I give it back.
  • It's frustrating and rewarding at the same time. I've worked with kids ranging from really young, five-ish, to teenagers. Young kids present a big concentration challenge just to focus on a subject. Teenagers can also be really rowdy and hard to get to focus, but usually only when they're with their friends. Yeah, frustrating and rewarding, as teaching always is.
  • I have before , it just wasn't my cup of tea - I have my own children that I mothered and loved - My nerves with about 30 children and tiny babies was a little much + 5
  • I have worked professionally with children. They were my co-workers. Well, they were not children chronologically, just in every other way. :)
  • I taught 8th grade for several years. I loved it. Driving to work I would see all these people looking tired and annoyed that they were on their way to work. I looked forward to it. The pay was horrid, the hours were long, but when you saw that kid finally catch a clue, helped a child make a better choice, or made a difference.... nothing beats that.
  • Yes. Working with children brought out a range of emotion that would try the patience of any adult. I don't regret a single minute of any of it. The opportunity to plant seeds that may take root years from now is reward in and of itself.
