I only need a job for 2 months and can only work part-time. I have only a little bit of work experience and I just want something to occupy my time and make a little money. Any odd job ideas. There are no lawns to mow or dogs to walk around here.

The best ways to get a temp job are the free want ads and through a friend hook up. Depending on where you are the want ads have different names, like Thrifty Nickel, Jobs R Us...just depends...You can almost always find them next to the newspapers in convenience stores. If that doesnt help, here are some quick job ideas: 1) Call a temp agency...they specialize in short-term work answering phones or whatever. 2) Find a warehouse that needs basic labor to move stuff around. 3) Grocery stores need shelf stockers. 4) Deliver newspapers. 5) Help people clean garages. 6) Get a can of spray paint and some cardboard - use it to repaint the curb numbers on people's houses. 7) Sign up for one of those envelope stuffing services. 8) Find a family member that needs some stuff done. 9) Help out at a nursing home. 10) Most restaurants need dishwashers. Try a fast food place or bagging at a grocery store. Most have part time hours and are used to people coming and going.

Be someone's handy helper on weekends. Carry things, work in their yard, help build something with them, paint their deck, spray wash their house, that sort of thing. During the week, run errands for people, be their personal shopper, run to the cleaners, walk their dogs., try adult day care helper, like reading to them.
