In a heartbeat - it's the very least I could do.
-
No doubt about it yes.
-
Without hesitation!
-
My seat or anything else that they wanted :-) Food, clothes, money, music. We do owe them our freedom.
-
Right after I gave him/her a big old hug I would give them my seat.
-
No. they are just human like I am. If that person were injured, then yes.
-
Undoubtedly!
-
Yes but I can't picture them actually taking it. They are always so polite. Not trying to make a generalization, just basing this off my own experience.
-
oops

Depends on the circumstances, if I had a schedule to keep then no I wouldn't, after all I wouldn't expect someone to give up their seat for me. If however it was not important for me to arrive somewhere at a particular time and the Military person only had limited leave and there was no other flights then I would.
-
Faster then a heartbeat.
-
Yes, I would, but only because they serve our country even if they think that George Bush is making a wrong mistake sending them over there. Think about it. If you were sent to go over to fight in Iraq for four years and you finally got a chance to visit your family in the mid tour, but you couldn't since all the seats were booked, wouldn't you feel sad that your life is at risk over there in Iraq and you couldn't even see your family and friends.
-
Yes
-
I'd offer it, but I have a hard time believing a soldier would take a seat offered by a young woman. I would definitely take the opportunity to express my gratitude for what they are doing. Thank you!
-
I'd have no problem with that.
-
Yes !
-
Yes. I had many courtesies done for me when I was in the military during Vietnam. It is the least I could do for these men.
-
No. If I spent time and money on a vacation you want me to give up my seat for someone doing his "job"? make your "company" fly you home.
-
It really depends, I can't really say if I would or wouldn't. Depends on what I am doing, where I need to be, who is with me, etc. The choice to be in the military is their own, and it is not my fault if they rarely get to see their family. If I was alone and had no one expecting me, then yes, I probably would.
-
Absolutely, without a second's thought!
-
Um, if we want the same flight, doesn't that mean that I'm flying from Iraq to the US too? Then nope, I'm not giving up my seat- I want to get my ass out of there as fast as possible. And doesn't the military fly them? They brought them from the US to Iraq, they should bring them back.
-
Absolutely! In a heartbeat.
-
Absolutely... but chances are he/she wouldn't take it!
-
In a second.
-
It is amazing that when I have given up one thing how so much more comes to me. besides the airline or other co. employees will bend over backwards to take care of you for doing it. they have extrodinary influence. and I would give up my seat for any service man or woman!
-
Nope. Particularly, after he's coming back from his no conscience, no consequences killing spree
