Yep...they make up the dynamics of the site just like everyone else. As long as they behave appropriately, anyone has a right to this site in my opinion. I've seen people as yound as 9 here.

I have a problem with some of the content that a few of them bring. eg explicitness in an imature way that is obviously giving them a cheap thrill but makes the rest of us yawn with boredom! Otherwise it would be impossible to stop them belonging and some are amazingly intelligent and helpful!

Some of the Brightest people I have met on here was when I first arrived and at least one of the top ranked people was a 12 year old very very bright. others at 13 and 14 were very mature intelligent and some of the most respected members and this was when this was a knowledge database and had a large proportion of very intelligent people asking academic and intellectual questions. It is not the persons age but their intelligence and maturity that is the important thing

Sure. Why not? There are just as many idiot adults. Opening it up to a younger group would only bring in fresh minds. Even if some silly questions are added, there likely will be some intelligent questions and answers added because of it as well.

Yes. Nothing here but curiosity and knowledge. I can hardly see anyone being harmed from that.
