If I dont have religion (whatever its stripe) am I a fundamentally good or bad person?

"Religious" people, |some|, have more than proven you are not necessarily a good person just because you own a bible. EDIT: OR.. go to church.

Bad or good is not the same as religion. It is my pleasure to know several anti-religion people. I would trust them with my life. on the other hand i also know several "religious" (in my own family) and they are not at all good people.

Why do We need a religion? I think your perfectly fine without a religion. I don't have a religion, and I'm not a bad person, its whats in the person that counts (no, not the organs and blood and junk) not their religion.

I don;t think religion has anything to do with a person's character. Whether their word is good is a much better indicator.

Belonging to a Religion doesn't make you good or bad. There are good and bad people who belong to religious denominations and good and bad people who have never been inside a Church.

If simply being religious makes you a good person, then all those pedophile priests are good people. I DON'T THINK SO. Religion has nothing to do with being a good person or not. It's your words and actions that tell about the kind of person you are.

youre a good person :) religion just makes people feel bad about thmeselves(except hindu, I like hindu, and Buddism)
