  • Here's what I'd recommend doing: 1. Go to this website: http://www.cars.com/go/crp/buyingGuides/Section.jsp?aff=national&section=bestbets&referer=&year=New&subject=bestbets&story=index and select the category of car that you want. 2. Write down a list of the cars that are attractive to you and that you could afford. 3. Go to a dealer and test-drive them. 4. Research warranties, prices, and reliability in more detail for the cars that you liked during the test-drives. 5. Go with your gut.
  • go with a toyota - you wont be sorry
  • If you can - go for a Chrysler product as they,re just as cool as these foreign vehicles but they,re less expensive to buy and maintain. Cheers!
  • I've worked in the motor trade for last 10yrs & have to say buy German or Japanese. German : VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes. Although SEAT & Skoda are also owned by VW & are now very good cars. Japanese: Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Mitsubishi. (I know some of the above have foreign ownership but they all still build & design enough of the vehicle for it to be good) The biggest difference between American cars and the above are that American cars are poorly built, poorly designed, use old technology, conform to poor environmental standards. If you stick to your budget & buy one of the above you'll be alright.
