  • Once I got choked by a foster kid my parents took in and I passed out, but I could see the whole thing happening from "the outside". I didnt know it was me though, I was just looking at it happening. I'm sure it was just a mental thing but it was wierd.
  • i never have but i am interested in reading about this. i have tried time and time again on having a self induced OBE. there are methods of doing this. i am just not successful of achieving this. self induced OBE is called astral projecting. people have some pretty cool stories on this ♠♠
  • I have them all the time... They happen when I stand up really quickly after lying down for ages, causing the blood to drain from my head (low blood pressure) I'm not sure it fully classifies as an out of body experience (infact I doubt it does), but what happens is I can't see for a few seconds (I don't see black, I just... don't see -anything-, as if 'sight' doesn't even exist), I can't think at all, I lose any sensation of direction, up/down, etc A lot of crazy s***, and I stop feeling like 'I', and start feeling like "him", so it's not so much an 'out of body' experience as a 'lack of body' experience... Meh : P Then everything goes back to normal and everyone's staring at me because I've just been standing dead still staring blankly ahead for a few seconds, haha (actually one time I fainted and was just leaning on someone for a few seconds, rofl) It's actually a really interesting experience, losing any sense of 'self' for a few seconds... Everything feels much more meaningful than it really is : P Don't try and make it happen though, if you pass out you could fall and -really- hurt yourself...
  • I had one as a teenager. I went to bed, and then I realized I did not brush my teeth. I was very tired, and I did not want to get up, but I did, I went down the hall to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and went back to my room. When I opened the door and looked at the bed, I saw there was someone in it- so I assumed I went to the wrong door, and that was my brothers room. I left, went to my brother's room, and he was there, asleep, in his own bed. I then returned to my room, and looked closer at the person in the bed. As soon as I realized it was me, I was shocked awake, "recombined" as it were, and I shot right up in bed.
