  • That would depend upon what you mean by pre-school. I point this out because some day-care facilities call themselves this in some areas (a ploy to help make the parents feel better I think). In other areas this is regulated by age i.e. 4 years old. If this was the criteria, then when the child is four, s/he would be ready for pre-school. The question might rather be 'Will your child be ready for preschool?' rather than when.
