Put a tarp or plastic covering over the vehicle, park in a garage... Or you can put one of those fake owls on the hood... that might be effective...

I'd recommend a shotgun. I do have to warn you though, you may get something else on your car. : - D

Refrain from parking under light posts or utility wires.

Try making an example out of one of them. Forget about your morals for a while and go nuts on one of them while all the others watch.
