I don't have a PS3 but I do have a PS2, you should try starting up the PS3 without a disc inserted. It should bring up a home menu and if theres no music options then try opening up the memory card and search through there. Sorry I can't be better help. Ok i have a ps3 to, if i understand you correctly, you wana see whats on it, you need to start it up plug plug in the memory card and go threw the options to music or videos and it should say that there is a memory card inserted so push x when your on the memory card and it should show you everything thats in it according to the place you at like if your in music and you open it up it will only show you the music on the memory card. get it..

If you put the memory card in the slot (you shouldn't need the adapter, I think) and go to Music/Video/Pictures, you'll see at the top the option "Memory Stick Pro Duo". Select that and you can view the media, just as on your PSP.

yes , just inset the memorystick into the slot to the left, then go to which every you , music, video , pictures and then press x , if you want music, then press x and it should start playing, same goes for the others, also you can press the ps button and look at pics while listening to music

Insert your stick and go to the menu option you want (Photos, Music, whatever). Press Triangle to bring up a menu and choose Display All. This should let you view anything on the memory stick even if it isn't a supported format.
