Poison Oak looks very much like poison ivy, poison oak is found is in less places than posion ivy and tends to grow more often in bushes, whereas poison ivy often grows in vines or stalks. Both plants turn red in later summer and fall, and both plants grow berries that are eaten by as many as 50 or more different species of birds.
