Do you think religion should be a taboo topic at functions or do you try and bring it up whenever possible?

I don't bring it up, but if someone else does, I usually participate in the conversation.

I have had some brilliant conversations about religion, when everyone is open minded. Its the fanatic that always ruins the subject. As a rule, I learn a lot about life, people, ideas, and MYSELF with stimulating conversation, even lightly heated debate. But nobody likes the person who wont listen, or always thinks everyone is wrong. In the proper mind frame, I think religion is a fantastic subject.
