  • Weed isn't physically addictive. It's not like nicotine in cigarettes, where your body physically craves it. If it's peer pressure, just tell your friends you don't want to smoke with them, or just avoid them when they smoke. If it's mental addiction, there are many methods out there. One is try to do something constructive instead.
  • You can become psychologically addicted to anything. What works for me when I need to quit for a while is just do something else. Find a hobby or hang out with people that don't smoke.
  • If it's become a habit it's gonna be hard at first but the more days that go by without it, the easier it will become.
  • like the others said seperate yourself from people who smoke and it should be easy and find something else to do like play ps3 or xbox when you wanna smoke

  • This article might help! --- How To Quit Smoking Marijuana - The Reason Behind The Need How to quit smoking marijuana is not an easy question to answer with a list of pointers and handy hints (though I have written enough of those as well) because the reasons people become addicted to marijuana is a mixed bag of problems in their life that creates a need to escape, zone out or even be more social if they have a group of friends that smoke. In the end smoking weed is about getting high to get away from something and when we become addicted to that high and you feel you NEED it then I becomes easy to blame the drug itself not the REASON you started smoking pot in the first place. • A change of environment and will power.
  • Everybody says that It's easy and everything, but I smoke weed and i've tried quitting so many times. I know really how hard it is. All you have to do is make yourself busy and think about what is really important to you and surely if your a person that likes to suceed then you will overcome it. It doesn't work when you HAVE to quit..Only when you WANT to quit.
  • i quit for a few weeks when i need to do something important. weed isn't really that addictive anyways so... u could try smoking cigarettes which is worse. it curves the craving for me when i quit sometimes.
  • Why Would You Want To Quit? Weed Is Great!!
  • Getting arrested Going to jail Driving on the influence and loosing your driving privileges. Having a record of drug use/paraphernalia. Oh yeah,JUST STOP.It isn't addictive so there are NO withdraws besides the emotional one.
  • Just stop. Pot isn't physically addictive after all.
  • Dip the lighted tip in water Tamp it on a table or in an ash tray Those are the most common.
  • I think you just have to want to. When I quit I had went to bed the night before high. I woke up the next day and decided I didn't really feel like doing it anymore and that was the end. Had plenty of chances to continue and just declined them.
  • Don't light the match?! ;-)
  • start with substituting meth for pot
  • Stop hanging out with people that smoke weed.
  • You quit a habit by replacing it. You can't get your mind off of it by thinking about it or trying to not think about it. If your world revolves about pot, change your world to revolve around something more practical, like a s/o, especially yours, if you have one.
