I was taught that the constitution gave certain rights to the states, including the right to govern within their own borders. This includes governing in a way that might be contrary to federal laws. This way we would not end up with a new form of tyranny, like the old king of England. Federal law does not trump state law, but actually the opposite. Therefore the raid by the DEA is illegal and all further raids should stop!
