  • I'm LDS. In other words, I'm a Mormon. I choose this religion partly because I was born into it, but also because I feel that it is the only religion that makes people truly happy.
  • Roman Catholic, I did not choose both sides of my family are Catholics. I respect every persons beliefs and I do not pontificate or preach, or try to convert.
  • Mormon, LDS, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, all the same. Yes, I chose it at age 56 after decades of experimenting with a variety of philosophies and cults and major and minor religions. None of them worked. LDS does on a lot of levels. It's the best organized Church, and I know exactly where my money is going. LDS is organized on 1st Century Christianity and is structured according to the Old Testament doctrine, and our priesthood lineage is pure and traceable. I hold a lower and a higher priesthood, as do most adult male members of the Church, and it reminds us to act accordingly. I try not to abuse that privilege. LDS is good for me and about 13 million other Mormons worldwide.
  • I dont follow one. I have my own beliefs but Im not going to be a sheep and follow some hypocritical religious group who are willing to start wars over their beliefs.
  • I don't anymore. Best choice ever.
  • Tao - Zen Buddhist. It is a simple to follow method of personally becoming increasingly better and closer to the Great Maker ... a few Taoist philosophical agreements and Taoist Esoteric Yoga with the "sudden trancendance" of Zen, and the "climbing the levels" to the "Reunion of Heaven & Man" of Buddhism.
  • I am Lutheran and I was born into it.
  • I don't have or beleive in any religion, I beleive things just happen for a reason.
  • Roman Catholic. I was born into it and stayed. :)
  • I'm a Jehovah's Witness. I was raised Catholic and watched my parents move to a Protestant church. As an adult I became determined to find the answers - not have them handed to me. After studying long and hard, it became quite clear that the Jehovah's Witnesses were right. Their interpretation of the Bible covers the book end to end, and makes sense. They were strict, but had logical reasons for it. The more I studied, the more it became clear. Ultimately, I'm a Witness because it's the one true religion. That probably sounds harsh, but why else would you choose a religion? There can only be one right answer to every question, and when it comes to something as essential as our relationship with God - you really should be sure you are on the right path. The Bible makes clear that the right path is neither an easy road to find or walk, but I hope everyone takes the time to look for it. (Matthew 7:13-14)
  • I am a Christian. I was baptized and raised and confirmed in the Lutheran church (ELCA) and am now a member of an Episcopal congregation. I would say that my theology is still more Lutheran, though -- but my current congregation was willing to take a stand to support gays and lesbians, so I currently feel more at home there.
  • I don't follow a religoin. I myself am an atheist as we all by now know, and I'm very happy being one. No deitys to appease, I have no obligation to refrane from my nature because of religion. I can be a human, not a sheep.
  • None. Both of my parents had diverse religious backgrounds, and they did not raise us with any faith. I was raised to be open-minded about beliefs, and to read various books and come to my own conclusions.
  • Noneya. I follow it because my faith is private and I think yours should be too.
  • I follow Hinduism. I was born into Hinduism, and I like the religion overall.
  • Zen Buddhist. I chose this because the things I learned from others and read about it helped to make sense of my own experiences in life. This occurred when I was over 40, after many years of interest in and study of religion, philosophy, psychology, etc. I think it's the best "fit" for my own efforts at spiritual development. I don't claim it's the One True Faith or other such exclusive views.
  • I am a born-again Christian. I follow Jesus and the Bible rather than a religious order or organized religion of some sort. Good question by the way! +pts -In the Master's service. Thank you and God bless you!
  • I don't have a religion. I never have, and probably never will. My mother was a Wiccan and my father was indifferent. After lots of reading, self-contemplation, and experience, I've come to the conclusion that religion is unnecessary to live a happy life.
  • None..because I cannot believe in religion...people die everyday for religious differences..They kill and use god what ever diety they chose to believe in...its been happening since the "birth" of religion
  • I don't have a religion, (atheist) however I was raised christian.
  • I'll have to answer this one after I get some rest. Take two. I believe in a religion that tolerates differing view points, is devoid of moral superiority, and practices compassion, loving kindness and mutual respect regardless of culture, ethnicity, gender or views of our spiritual leaders.
  • Take a wild guess. I chose it because it made sense, unlike other beliefs.
  • Reformed Druid. we worship shrubs. Because of the dental plan.
  • I stopped, I have too many unanswerable questions.
  • I am a muslim, shia to be precise... i do blv it is the one religion that every body "should" follow....but that doesnt mean that i or anybody else can force people to blv in this religion too... to me my duty is to tell people about my religion and that's all .... if someone blvs he can be if not then it is his choice... no harm at all...
  • Science. Its the only belief system that has proof to back it up.
  • I'm a pagan. I follow it because it's my families religion.
  • I'm an atheist, but I belong to and am actively involved in a Unitarian Universalist congregation. I chose to join a UU congregation because I missed the community that churches provide, and because I strongly believe in the UU principles.
