  • Who would read that?
  • At least it can refreshen our minds about parts of the books that we missed. Perhaps we can get an in depth anaylsis of characters that we are unfamiliar with.
  • It's a great idea on how to milk your product for all it's worth without having to actually do anything original. there's no reason why I'd be sad about it, maybe just a bit indifferent.
  • To be honest sometimes I feel though she is just trying to get as much money from this as she can. I COULD BE WRONG, and the Harry Potter books ARE good, but there is a limit to everything you know?
  • It is for charity, so I have no issues with it. There are already two other companion Harry books written for the same reason.
  • G'day Da Asian Boy, Thank you for your question. If the funds go to a charity, that would be good but it would be interesting just to find out where she got the ideas from. Hopefully, she will have a good holiday first. She will then probably work on other non-Potter works that she has thought up. However, it wouldn't surprise me if we see another work or series of works in the Harry Potter universe either a prequel based on Harry's parents and Lord Voldemort (like Star Wars I-III) or his kids. Regards
  • omgreallyiamsuchahpdorkanditwouldbetrulyamazingiwouldhavetomemorizeitareyouforrealthisisreallyexciting. If you can't tell that means... OF COURSE I'M HAPPY! I have always wanted this. To be able to see on paper the links between everything. I hope its like super intense and not just some... plaything. I really want to just be in her brain and to know and to have solid answers. Do I think she has ALL the answers to my questions. Probably not... I probably have questions she hasn't even considered... and I mean she isn't perfect. This is the author who lost 24 hrs. So... yes it makes me extremely happy.... as long as it answers lingering questions of mine.
  • Happy, she has a huge amount of back story on each individual person in the book, i want to see it :)
  • The POOR woman has to make some money from somewhere!
  • No, I am neither happy nor sad about this... To give a Bob Blaylock-like answer.
  • I am sure after the encyclopedia comes out she will have different books like, How to recognize a muggle on the street, Hat and Owls there specialness in the Harry Potter books,Harry all grown up, Hagars recipes from his garden the list is endless what she will come up with now that her well of ideas is dry.
  • haha... right before the release of the 5th book I had become emersed in this dangerously long fanfic. It was so complex that I ridiculously got confused reading the next book. I will forever have a vivid memory of OOTP breaking into the Dark Eater-ridden MoM which left Dumbledore dead and a ferocious fight in Diagon Alley.
  • That's so exciting, haha!
  • I would lean toward apathetic.
  • I am very excited about it. I am the type of person who loves the companion books as much as the actually books. I love all the extra (sometime useless), info that they contain!!!
  • happy anything with harry potter in it i love
  • I love Harry Potter... BUT Has it just jumped the shark?
  • I think thats a great idea, I heard she is going to donate the money from the book to charity
  • I'd probably buy it.
