  • Only with my family members and best friends. And I say best friends, knowing these are the type of friends I have a lot in common with, unlike my coworkers. They are somewhat of my friends, but they are not people I would share my feelings with.
  • I will talk about them to people I trust if it helps them, but talking isn't necessarily releasing emotion, it can still keep emotions in the head. People escape feeling emotion, with distraction, ruminating, analysing, blaming, all forms of suppression, but because emotion is energy, which is meant to flow, if not released then the body holds them, this can cause illness, pain, weakened immunity problems, bad posture, breath holding, shallow breathing etc. So crying, or releasing is something I'll do in private because I'm vulnerable. But I'm very aware in British culture of swallowing emotion, "keep calm carry on," but it has to go somewhere. Which reminds me of the book The Body Keeps the score, and other similar authors etc. If you avoid emotion your body holds it, especially trauma if a person couldn't react normally or flee a situation, the body will freeze it, or take it up to analyse rather than feel, and so can develop insomnia, migraines, jaw tension, which I have a tendency to do, so allowing yourself to get back into your body and ground yourself so you can feel is important, but you have to feel safe to do it, because emotions make you vulnerable. Emotions were viewed like time bombs to be avoided, especially anger, in my family. Everyone releases stress in forms of behaviour, toe/finger tapping, knee bouncing, hair curling, in autism its called stimming, autistic children often spin in circles, or bounce etc but it's all a form of releasing anxiety, suppression or masking is not good for a person. Animals they shake, dogs, cats, horses, they all shake, to release stress. https://youtube.com/shorts/P67RUhhdcjY?si=7SjTpIgLXVs0fTPy https://youtube.com/shorts/my2zUT_rbjQ?si=SbNIuDI8FF7OMIuz https://youtu.be/cHhFssHUbQ4?si=ILYS2IoIRb-Eef0W https://youtu.be/iTefkqYQz8g?si=dI_nfcW8Q_TvpA1X https://youtu.be/CKZntJlfI2Q?si=kredvS4qFRBR8lQM https://youtube.com/shorts/dMohytJdM_Q?si=y98NotKqFfSZn0eE

A little off topic but, How much of Carl Jung have you read Shadow? Did you do any Shadow work and if so, how did you get on with it? I'm just interested in this myself.
    • Shadow Of The Mind
I’m not into reading psychology books but I do like to make observations of people based on my experiences and I learn by seeing things with my own eyes as to what is in front of me. Also, I am somewhat sociable and I like to be in tune with the emotions of others around me and I like to gain understanding of people in general such as behaviours, emotions, general psychology and relationships. I am a visual learner with people and listening to what they say can be important in order to take on board as to what makes sense. I like to understand the world in general which I have been doing for most of my life so far. I like to understand people without trying to get in their mind because that would cause psychological damage. From my experiences of people, I am aware of corruption, destruction and violence in people which makes me selective of who I choose to be around with.
  • How trusting are you tell me about yourself so I can turn on you later? Is what most of these people do hence why we have so many pathetic young boys getting around that aren't sure weather they are boys or girls. Is what this tell me about yourself is really about. Far too much time is spent pampering to pathetics with all this mental health bs its designed so people will goto the doctor and take more prescription medication, the government wants stupid people they are easy to control is why all this mental health is being pushed . Emasculating Men is what I see happening, lowering society morals so the pathetics can remain in control.
