  • Capital punishment, in principle, is fine. The way its done in the USA is totally idiotic. 1st off, our justice system is so broken that I don't trust it with any life or eth decision. Secondly, assuming that the convict IS guilty, we give them a decade or two or sometimes more, to either remain dangerous and soak up hundreds of thousands in tax payer money, or to repent and become a good person to be executed anyway. Justice that takes decades isn't just. We should put the accused on trial, have an entirely unbiased trial, and, if they are rightfully deemed too dangerous to be worth a second chance, firing squad within a week. Or else we should not be in the business of executing people. Period.
