- #1 - Fix the economy. Most elections hang on the state of the economy at the time of the election. He's got a little over a year to fix it. - #2 - Not lose the war in Ukraine or even appear to be losing. Yes, he's not fighting it, but he's invested billions in it and (so) if Ukraine loses anyway, or appears likely to lose, he'll be blamed for the cost to our country and to our economy (and not unjustly). - #3 - Not let China run rampant. If they claim anything more significant than they have so far - for example: if they claim the far side of the Moon, or if they conquer Viet Nam, etc. - then he's in serious hot water.

All he has to do is convince enough people from swing states that he is better than the other option.
