I have a weimaraner who has 2 weeks left in her pregnancy. She seems to be getting really big really fast, wihting the last week. Could she be getting too big and what can it be if it's not jus hte puppies growing?

To answer your Question, It could be Pyometra, if it is not just the puppies. Pyometra is a very serious problem and would require an imediate spay along with some very powerful antibiotics. It is normal for a bitch to gain a lot of weight during the last 3 weeks of her pregnancy so I think what you are seeing is normal. Just make sure that she is acting ok (take into consideration that she is pregnant), eating good (she may stop eating 3 days or less before she goes into labor but until then she should have a healthy appetite), make sure she isn't drinking excessively accompanied with a lack of appetite (VET ASAP), and check her frequently for a vaginal discharge (any discharge should be clear and odorless, any color or odor is reason for concern).
