I agree with Kim. The answer is no.
A woman cannot get her regular period and still be pregnant. A woman gets her period when some of the lining of her uterus sheds away at the end of each cycle. If a woman were pregnant the thicker lining would be needed to nourish the fertilized egg. However, some women do have light bleeding or spotting when they are pregnant. Although it is usually not like their normal periods, a woman may mistake this bleeding for her period and not know she is pregnant. The only way to know if you are pregnant or not is to have a pregnancy test done.
No.
Before menstruation, the uterus develops special blood vessels for nurturing an embryo. As well, a special lining called the endometrial lining is produced to which the embryo attaches. If no implantation occurs, the uterus sheds the lining and the blood vessels "disappear".
That being said, there is plenty of time between ovulation and menstruation for a fertilised egg to attach to the uterus. If you have your period, no fertilised egg attached itself.
Yes you can...but its very unlikely and bleeding early in pregnancy is not usually a good sign and needs to be dealt with ASAP!
It is rare but possible. I knew someone who had her period until her third trimester.
You still can have your period and be pregnant.
It is rare, but possible, for the first few months to still get your period and not know your pregnant. If you have any concerns, grab a pregnancy test.
Yes, I had mine for the first 3 months of my first 2 pregnancies, I didn't for the other 2 though. Those first 2 were both girls.
I have done sex on 13 july 2010,without any protection, in standing position, my boyfriend has removed out his penis after sex, but some drop of sperm has fallen on my pubis and mostly yhe remaining part is on my legs, after 25 to 30 min I have gone to toilet for urine, after this my periods are coming regularly but in this fourth month period is still running but the bleeding in this is less, and their is itching in my pubis, and the formation of red spot around my pubis, this itching is occurring before the periods, I am also suffering from fever and vomiting is also occuring. Could I am pregnant please tell me sir, please reply me soon......
Actually...sorry, yes. Many women have periods for the first few months of a pregnancy, although it is generally lighter than normal, more spotty.
it is very possible to have a period when your preg. my mom had a period up to 6 months with her 2nd pregnancy. she had a period up to 4 months with her 1st.
yes, I know someone that gave birth and never missed a period!!!! never knew she was pregnant til about her 4th month....
Yes you can. I had mine took over 15 urine test but all came out negative. My doctor thought I had problems and was about to send me to a therapist. She started pushing on my stomach and my daughter hit her back I was 28 weeks and had her 4 weeks later. I had my periods when I was pregnant with my sons also, only until my second month and they were lighter than normal. If you still have your period have to wait a week after it stops if you are doing a home test. Best bet is to go to the doctor and get a blood test.
