  • Medicare and Medicaid for the elderly and needy only - strictly regulated. Anyone who is able to work should provide their own insurance coverage and stop sponging off the taxpayers.

  • NONE! Healthcare should NOT be gov't's responsibility. All health insurance should be private. I don't want the gov't involved in any way with my healthcare. Healthcare should be between the patient, their physicians and their insurance. There should be health insurances for the elderly, retired, families, and hereditary disease states, and of course just general healthcare. It should NOT be connected to your job either. It should be like car insurance and you can get the kind you want and can afford. If you don't need eye insurance, don't buy it. etc. I agree with what Sarah Palin said about the gov't death panels deciding who lives and who dies. Also health insurances should be able to cross state lines and even be global. If you're an ex pat in France and want to come to the US for care, you should be able to. I liked healthcare in the US, before Obamacare screwed it up. Single payer healthcare is just an extension of socialism and political control over the population.
