First download a free/trail version of magicpartition. Google it up. Install magicpartition. Open the program and right click on the drive where ya want to convert. Select "Convert.." and select "to NTFS". Your comp. will automitically reboot after converted your drive. Good Luck!

Don't use any trial version programs to partition your hard drive, they have limitations and when the trial period expires every time you boot your pc you will see a nag screen or adware of sorts asking you to purchase the program. Well if you have a windows disk laying around, I think anything from 95 on up, I'd let windows do it for you. I'm assuming your installing some flavor of windows on the ntfs partition right? As part of the install procedure it will ask you how you want to format the disk and give you options. ALL at no additional charge FREE!

Go to computer management (it's in Control Panel), Disk Management. Right-click the Raw disk, create a partition on it, and format it. It's easy.

If it is your first drive, it will format for you when you install your operating system. If it is a second drive, go to Computer Management and right click the raw drive to initiatlize, format, and populate a volume.

Easy, If your in Windows then just right click on the drive and select format. If your trying to boot from it then use your Windows CD and boot from CD then it'll give you the option to select drive. Select the drive and it'll format for you. If your talking about partitioning then it's slighly different
