hm ive had a book overdue for almost a month, ended up owing a good solid $5 = Not really how i like to spend my money so i havent borrowed a book is a long time since then. I'm not really the borrowing type :)

I still have a book that was overdue years ago. This was because on the day that it was due, the library closed down. It had not opened since, and no city organization asked for the books back.

I still have a book that I got out the library when I was 6 - it was called The Good Tiger. I'm 30 now. :os My excuse is that I left the country shortly after (with my parents obviously!)

Ha...ha... um... I was charged around $28 in late fees.

I think it was about 6 weeks, though there was one book that I thought for sure I had left somewhere and went to pay for the book at the library and did so. Then I did find it about a month later and they refunded my money:-)

1979. It was(is) two books. One on the holocaust, the other a biography of Al Capone. Still can't get a library card today in that town.
