forgiveness is a process you have to work through and having hate for a person is a state you can exist in without much effort. there are a couple of people out there that i would say i hate, but it's for good reason, and i don't care to forgive them. does that make me a bad person, who knows?

Hate is by far an easier path to take. It involves no self discovery, or being the 'bigger person'. But to hate someone for the sake of hating is exhusting, and rarely leads to anything good.

Forgiveness is very hard sometimes and for some people. It gets easier with practice and much easier when you realize that while it is sometimes harder, it is a lot less expensive. Hate is extremely costly, especially to the one doing the hating. So it is really harder in the long run. If we understand that forgiveness benefits us more than anyone else, it becomes a lot less difficult.

It is usually much easier to hate but then you end up hurting yourself more than the person you are hating. The easiest road is not always the best one.
