Have you ever heard or read anything about this Franciscan monk. I understand he was exceptional indeed.

Yes He apparently had the stigmata on his hands and feet. One time when i was a teenager hanging out at a friends house whose mother was psychic there was a visitation. Out of the blue the room suddenly filled with a rose fragrance while we were talking about Padre Pio. This was seen,felt as a sign of his presence.
