  • Local forecast .. one day, and they still get it wrong half the time. To be fair... I live in the mountains and often the locally predicted weather goes around us. I've learned to follow the weather report of an area that's about 150 miles away. There's a wide pass in the mountains between here and there and as a rule ... the weather they had today will follow that pass and be what I get tomorrow.

You may have missed your calling. You could be a meteorologist.

I'm sure I could do just as good a job of it. Our meteorologist is a good looking blonde who's built like a brick shit house. I'm pretty sure her job is safe.

A good looking shit house ?
    • Ice man
Yes ... and all the bricks are properly stacked !!
  • I Google my weather by zip code. It's fairly accurate.

Accurate for how many days before it starts being faulty?

Last time I googled the weather they said we wouldn't see the sun till Thursday, but I saw some peek through on Wednesday. But I think that was a God thing. A ray of hope just to keep me hanging on and make me smile. But not an inaccurate forecast as it was fleeting and Mr. Sun did stay hidden for the most part until the next day.

I hope for the best but plan for the worst.

      Don't we all.
  • 6-16-2017 According to actual records (and not counting good weather days because most days are good weather), forecasters are right LESS than half the time. That's why the forecasters are always either sexy chicks or clowns. (Like the guy in the Arizona desert who always used an umbrella for his pointer.)

Did my own informal study. I find 3 days is about as accurate as they can get.
