  • What we do in this life makes us into something that can exist in Heaven or that can only exist in Hell. Got accepts the choices we make through our free will.
  • 4-30-2017 If you want to know something you should read the book that was given for that purpose, rather than reciting bs that you have heard from dingbat preachers. Hell is a hole is a grave. The bible says over and over that everybody goes there and there is no awareness. You're just dead. That's why they call it "dead". The book of Romans carefully explains that what a believer does no longer matters. Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Nothing there about sins or good deeds.

  • I know several who believe but in no way deserve heaven. my whole family can go to hell for a start. george bush... all republicans... all kkk members....
  • Hell IS about being tortured forever, according to the bible.... Revelations 21:8 "the unbelieving...will be CONSIGNED TO THE FIERY LAKE of sulfur" ~~Mathew 25;46 "they will go away to ETERNAL PUNISHMENT." ~~Thessalonians 1:9 "They will be punished with EVERLASTING 'destruction' " ~~Mathew 13;50 "...and throw them into the furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" ~~MARK 9: 43 "...HELL, WHERE THE FIRE NEVER GOES OUT." There is more, but I think that's enough to get the idea.

I would not pay much attention to interpretations from someone who can't even copy the name of the book correctly. If you knew anything about bible research you would have checked the word 'hell' in Mark 9:43 and you would have found that it is gehenna - which is the Jerusalem city dump.
  • Millions of people from different religions also believe in Jesus, and that doesn't mean they are saved. It is about believing in Jesus as Scripture has said in order to have Everlasting Life. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 7:38 "He that believeth on me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."
  • The Lord God never sends anyone to Hell. It is their choice to refuse Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Can a Christian go to Hell? Yes, if they back slide and refuse to have Jesus Christ as their Lord. (Galatians 5:4)
  • As Christians, we have perceived and experienced God's goodness and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord of our lives. Once we have acted on the Bible's message regarding salvation, our lives are changed, and a new reality is in effect. Christ's payment has allowed each of us to claim the new birth and thus eternal life and salvation from the impending time of wrath. I Thessalonians 1:10 “And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.” Along with this knowledge and surety comes the responsibility of recognizing it as a true reality and adapting our living accordingly. Colossians 2:6,7 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.” In becoming “rooted” in God’s Word, we are not shaken by the doubts of people around us but are examples of believers with the Word living in us. We have become a new person in Christ, and those around us can now believe and live as we do. In genuinely transforming our lives, we may find that our friends are changing and that we are growing accustomed to and powerfully harmonizing with God’s purposes. I Timothy 2:4 "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." archive.org/details/bibletellsmeso01wier/page/180 We are now involved in bringing the knowledge of God’s Word to our fellow man and in seeing God’s desires come to pass in miraculous ways.
  • Yes. Why? Belief by itself is insufficient. We are taught by the Bible: "You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder." (Jam 2:19) Clearly one can believe in Jesus - even (in the case of demons) KNOW who Jesus was and KNOW that he was crucified and rose again - and that is not enough, because you have to not only BELIEVE, you also MUST FOLLOW the teachings of Christ (at least, you must make a sincere attempt to do so). Another Bible passage (Jesus speaking): "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." (Jhn 14:15) A final passage: "If anyone does not love the Lord, he is to be accursed." (1Co 16:22) *** Please read also: Jhn 14:21-25. *** With regard to Hell, this Bible passage is the clearest and most unambiguous description of Hell (by which I mean: the place of eternal torment for the wicked) that I know: Rev 20:10-15 https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=rev+20%3A10-15&version=NASB1995;NRSV
  • First let me assure that a Fiery burning Hell where someone is tormented for eternity is not real. Second why would a loving God punish someone for eternity? I don't know anything about the Muslims religion, and yes many Christians teach that Hell is real. But the Bible does not support that teaching. These two links will give you Bible based information that will, (I am sure) help you to see what the Bible says about the Hellfire belief. https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlshare&wtlocale=E&prefer=lang&pub=T-25 and https://www.jw.org/finder?srcid=jwlshare&wtlocale=E&prefer=lang&pub=T-74 I really hope this is helpful.
