Wooowww, this is an old one. Their beef is hopefully squashed by now. But yes, it was. From what I can remember, Canibus laid his rhyme after LL and dissed him. LL heard the rhyme and went back and changed his to respond to Canibus. This site confirms what I heard and gives more details: http://www.indiesent.com/llcan.html "... The original rhyme from Canibus made reference to "borrowing" the mic tattooed on LL's arm and rocking it. According to Canibus, this was not meant as a dis, it was a show of respect. LL took offense anyway and rewrote his verse on "4,3,2,1" to dis Canibus back. He told Canibus to either re-write his rhyme or he would take him off the record. Canibus chose to rewrite his rhyme and thought the whole thing was squashed, but LL kept his verse dissing Canibus. When you hear LL refer to the mic on his arm, i.e. "this symbol on my arm is off limits to challengers," and "you don't wanna borrow that, you wanna idolize..." that's directed toward Canibus. Canibus dissed back extremely hard with the b-side to "How We Roll," called "2nd Round Knockout."
