I don't really care if my glass is 1/2 full or 1/2 empty - I'm just happy to have a glass (Joe Farrell). What is your opinion?

It is always better to have a full glass for me. But hey, something is better than nothing ^-^ A happy-go-lucky attitude is really good to have. Makes life easier and less stressing :]

Well, I like the idea of being content with what we have and I try my best...and I don't know about yesteryear, but in today's society we have necessities to abide to, weather we like it or not. So I need more then just a glass. The glass means nothing if there's nothing in it to hate or enjoy. :/ I can't love anyone if nobody's there, and I can't bitch against society if I'm not around to be a part of it. Well, I'm guessing the saying and question usually has some sort of social relation pertaining to something substantial, anyway. Well yeah, the context is quite subjective, but to me the glass is a tool. On the other hand, I can't drink anything if I don't have a glass to pour it in, I'm certainly not going to rob a bank or become a terrorist. :/ I'll be content with whatever's in the glass though.
