My very first thought was probably not, because I would want one available if my kids ever needed one, But... If I met the person with-in 5 minutes I think I would be saying yes.

No, I only have 2, I need one, possibly my family will need one. Its unfortunate that this person is ill, but if the boot was on the other foot and he/she was perfectly healthy I am convinced most human beings would not do the same. Most people you deal with in daily life couldnt give less of a crap about you if they tried.

You may give this to the person who will then go and drink themself stupid and ruin it Its a difficult choice but imagine down the line your kid or family member or friend needed one! imagine not being able to help the ones you love! or worse if your other kidney started failing. there are complications in giving away a kideny aswell as for organ donation when i die im all for that!

As I only have one kidney and need to look after my family, no. If I had two, I definately would.

Unfortunately I would not, only because I have a wife and 3 kids. I only have 2 kidneys, and I need one of them. That leaves only 1 kidney for 4 potential instances of need. If I had no wife and kids, then yes.

Ofcourse, out of kindness of my heart :) If I can save someone's life I would definately do it, regardless if it's a stranger or not.
